Go see The Story of Anvil and you will appreciate how much work these guys in Anvil has put it and still never got recognition. The trio from Canada was listed as all these bands - Metallica, Slayer, Poison, Motley Crue, etc influence but never took them on tour or ask them to open. The songs are not bad, a little silly, and there early show has Lips playing with a dildo strumming his guitar. I guess their songs never really clicked with their fans, its just not something youd normally listen too as the lyrics are too funny to take seriously. Tonight they play after the c ok medy of Don Jamieson, who did That Metal Show. I saw some of his stsnd-up on youtube and it is funny.
