R.I.P. Sam Jayne

  

R.I.P. Sam Jayne. Thank you for the music and the friendship. You were a very very funny dude. Met Sam in 1993, The Creeps was on tour, we just played Billy Karren's living room (Lync maybe played?), after the show, ended up talking to Sam until the morning. Through the years I'd go see his shows or he'd see mines. In Brooklyn, all the time, I'd always bump into him at shows or just around Grand Street, my bus stop was a block from Clem's. I never hung out with Sam or was even close, but one thing I will miss, is everytime I'd see him, we'd always talk about comic books, video games, general nerdiness. He was always trying to get me to buy some of his comics. Sam was a very funny dude, quick with the pun. Amazing songwriter and musician. Rest in Power!  #ripsamjayne
