Among the 1st wave of Filipino cartoonist hired by Marvel/DC comics in the 70s, who migrated to the US, to work behind the scenes of comic books, Ernie Chan had golden hands. He drew lots of cover art, starting from horror comics to main titles. What's amazing is, Albert De Guzman (Filipino Letterer) would layout his letterings around Ernie Chan's artwork, and would sometimes be inked/colored by another Filipino artist like Ruben Yandoc. So about 70 % of a comic book, from the 70s to 90s, were put together by Filipinos.
