Coffee and the OG ladies that broke the barriers of tones/soundwaves and music composition using machines/early synthesizers. Showtime is finally showing this beautiful movie, I missed out on it during the pandemic. Best part I love Delia Derbyshire in the 50s, syncing 5 reel to reel machines by hand to compose music like a band of musicians 🤯 FTW! Definite roots of noise music. Excellent film by Lisa Rovner, shining light on early female electronic musicians who had to hold their ground against men and their music control domination, crushing the stereotype of women in the early music industry.
