Eleanor for Filipino-American History Month! Eleanor Academia was born in National City in San Diego, and was signed to Epic records in the 80s. She mixed traditional Filipino percussions/woodwind instruments with her style of dance music. Her song Adventure made it to #1 in the Billboard dance music charts in the 80s.
