Nestor Redondo for Filipino-American History Month. Nestor Redondo was part of the 1st group of Filipinos who migrated to the US to work on DC Comic's horror line. Nestor co-created the Phippines' version of Wonder Woman, named Darna with his brother for Mars Ravelo. He also co-created Swamp Thing and drew several issues of Rima the Jungle Girl. Nestor also worked for Pendullum Press, helping other Filipinos get jobs, illustrating their comic adaptations of literary classics like Dracula, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, and Sherlock Holmes.
