Got done watching the Giant Robot documentary. I wrote GR after finding the fanzine (not a mag yet) at a bookstore across from Amoeba in mid-90s, because they wrote about 70s Japanese mecharobots cartoons, bonus was it was all about Asians and punk. I ended with my column in it called the Adobo mix for a couple issues, about DJ mixtapes, Battle competitions and breakdancing. Love how much it represents Asians in popular culture.
