Pretty groovy soundtrack! Roger Corman experimented with LSD and wanted to make a movie about it. So he asked Jack Nicholson, who he knew had been partaking in lots of Acid, to write a script about someone's 1st trip on LSD in LA. This movie and its actors (Peter Fonda/Dennis Hooper) all led to the casting of Easy Rider. Nicholson had a couple scripts written before this as well.
