Finally picked up a copy of this release on vinyl, which also came with a Philippine Violator shirt. I bought the cassette version of this when it came out originally in 1986, I remember buying it with the Betrayed cassette. The last tapes I got before moving to America. So proud of the cassette when it came out. The singer for I.O.V. (Intoxication Of Violence), Xeres, was my childhood buddy. We went to different schools but met hanging out at Tropical Hut burgers daily. We both fell deep into punk rock in the 80s one summer, we were coming from getting into new wave, and had a mobile dj crew, also had a car club
called VLBCQA, that becMe our punk tribe. We would always meet up at his house before heading out to Katrina's (punk club in Manila), I remember using San Miguel beer mixed with Elmer's glue to put up his mohawk/spikes a couple times then take public transportation to the show, mid-80s. Xeres was with me when I got jumped by actor Chistopher De Leon, after heckling him because he got caught cheating on his wife Nora Aunor. Olden fun times!!
