Re-housed the Bikini Kill VHS

 My roomie Chris and John helped with dissecting the busted Bikini Kill compilation VHS tape and transfered to a new case.

  Vijiyos!! Bikini Kill vhs tape is a heartbreaker, somehow the case is crushed, and popped in a corner and won't fit inside a vcr. Going to need someone to dissect and transfer to another tape, if it's even worth the time. Le Tigre in Boston is with Tracy/Plastic and my band Semiautomatic. Riot grrl convention is only cb barnes/sleater kinney/peechees. There is more bans on the Crimson tapes, lost the j-card for it.

  The Creeps and The Frumpies at Off The Record, May 23, 1993, 28 yrs ago today.

Funny to me how The Creeps started. Carlos and I drove to the Che Cafe, Rice was  playing, it was 1992, probably at the tale end of Rice's existence until 1995. I was drunk and pulling into the parking lot of the Che, and I side-swiped Oliver's Mom's car and backed out and parked somewhere else, some one at the bus stop saw it and left a message on her car that it was my car, the station wagon, that hit it and called the cops. We told the cops we'd settle it on our own since I worked at a rent-a-car with a body shop. A couple months later I ended going to Oliver's bday party and Rufus, who was in this crazy band called Furniture, asked to start a band with him and Oliver. I got Michael Zimmerman to sing in exchange for a pint of Vodka every time he gets on the mic. The 1st songs we learned were Black Ludella by The Delmonas and Live For Now by Iron Cross. We went on tour with Oliver's Mom's car, and I was not allowed to drive her car at all, at any given time. Fun times!
