  Stopped by the Comic Station in Greenpoint, and found some treasures in the dollar box. Found a Savage Sword of Conan mag with art by Tony DeZuniga and an Arak, Son of Thunder with DeZuniga inking Ernie Colon (DeZuniga was one of the 1st Filipino artist hired by DC/Marvel in the 70s/80s to work on comicbooks.)

Ernie Chan for Filipino-American History Month

  Ernie Chan for Filipino-American History Month. Ernie Chan started work inking DC's horror/mystery line in the 70s. Then moved on to inking Conan comics in the 70s under John Buscema, as well as inking some art by John's brother Sal on The Incredible Hulk. He did his 1st cover art in Claw the Unconquered, and has done lots of cover arts. I always look for comics done by Ernie Chan.

Started as an inker/penciller for the horror theme comics, worked on some Batman and Detective Comics and inked most comic adaptations of movies like Willow, Elvira, Labyrinth for Marvel.
